Yazid Taki is a Moroccan multidisciplinary creative working at the intersection of cinematic storytelling and immersive technology. A Northwestern University in Qatar graduate with a degree in Media Industries, his practice spans filmmaking, game design, and interactive media, unified by narratives that explore human connection and societal reflection.
His portfolio includes short films, ambitious projects like Bint Al Sayyad, a documentary on Qatar's fauna and his latest short film “The Stain” in collaboration with the Doha Film Institute. A CultureLab member at La Rochelle Cinema Festival, Yazid brings hands-on expertise across directing, editing, cinematography, and production, alongside specialized work in VR/AR, gamified experiences, and real-time 3D applications.
Based in Qatar, Yazid co-founded grain to push the boundaries of what storytelling can be, building experiences that are not just watched, but felt, explored, and remembered.
